This project consists of four different pieces: (1) Seismically upgrading the 10-story Hospital Nursing Tower, and Community Living Center, (2) Building a new Mental Health Services and Research Building (MH&R), (3) a new 1,000 car parking structure, and (4) Creating a new campus entry plaza.

The MH&R building will accommodate the campus' outpatient therapy, clinical research, and education programs. The focus of the design is to create a calming and reassuring environment. The planning also aims to support collaboration and team building among the clinical & research staff.

The parking structure is both above and below grade and allows visitors close access to the hospital and MH&R. The seismic upgrade of the nursing tower is closely coordinated with interior renovations of the building.
