Kevin Hinrichs, LEED-AP
Since joining The Design Partnership, Kevin has gained experience in every aspect of building design and construction, from programming and schematic design, through construction administration. As a project manager, Kevin is experienced working with multiple groups of users and on many types of buildings. He enjoys collaborating with clients to create functional, efficient, and inspired designs.
Growing up, Kevin was fascinated by the construction industry. In high school, he enjoyed the technical aspects of mechanical drafting and engineering and thought he could apply these skills as an engineer or architect. In time, he found himself drawn towards architecture by its creative potential and psychological influence.
Intrigued by the human mind, he minored in psychology while attending college at Cal Poly and studied behavior in relation to environmental influences. His design philosophy draws heavily from this, balancing functionality and design to create positive environments for the user. Kevin’s ultimate goal is to create architecture that provides a functional solution, as well as leaves a positive impact on the environment - both physically and socially.
